Rosemary

Rosemary lived here from August 1998 to January 2021. Born in Scotland she moved with her parents to Aylsham in Norfolk at an early age. There she spent many happy years with her two sisters during their younger years until 1966 when she married and moved to Dunstable. After her husband sadly passed away Rosemary moved back to Norfolk to her beloved bungalow in Weybourne to be close to her sisters and to pursue her love of birdwatching on the marshes nearby. She became a Grandmother in 2002 and looked forward to visits from her family, where along with showing them the delights of Norfolk, she would enjoy a trip to The Dun Cow at Salthouse; one of her favourite places to eat! Rosemary loved her time in Weybourne with its charm and beautiful countryside and stayed there for the remainder of her life until January 2021 when she passed away after a short illness in hospital. The bungalow was left to her son Ian and has now been lovingly restored and named as “Rosemarys View” in her memory.
